There are some errors, which are caused by the way this test was performed, but in the grand scheme of things they don't matter. What I do is copy the kernel & initrd from the iso to my tftp server, and make a corresponding section in pxelinux.cfg/ But the CF-card has the *.cmg from alpine 2.0 - and so anything kernel specific in there is 'not found'. The reason I'm using tftp is that it's much quicker to just copy the files around, than messing about with the CF card, readers and stuff... Is there a way to tell the system to pull the *.cmg from tftp, nfs, or something? Anyway: > Thanks! No, I'm the one thanking here !) About the bugreport: If it's still needed I'll do it, but like I said I'm pretty busy over the weekend... thanks, jon -- YMMV --bg08WKrSYDhXBjb5 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="2.6.32.19-grsec.boot" Linux version 2.6.32.19-grsec (ncopa@ncdev) (gcc version 4.4.4 (GCC) ) #2-Alpine SMP Fri Aug 27 11:50:19 UTC 2010 KERNEL supported cpus: Intel GenuineIntel AMD AuthenticAMD NSC Geode by NSC Cyrix CyrixInstead Centaur CentaurHauls Transmeta GenuineTMx86 Transmeta TransmetaCPU UMC UMC UMC UMC BIOS-provided physical RAM map: BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009fc00 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000000009fc00 - 00000000000a0000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000000f0000 - 0000000000100000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 0000000000100000 - 0000000008000000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 00000000fff00000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) DMI not present or invalid. last_pfn = 0x8000 max_arch_pfn = 0x100000 init_memory_mapping: 0000000000000000-0000000008000000 RAMDISK: 07b12000 - 07fdefb4 ACPI Error: A valid RSDP was not found (20090903/tbxfroot-219) 0MB HIGHMEM available. 128MB LOWMEM available. mapped low ram: 0 - 08000000 low ram: 0 - 08000000 node 0 low ram: 00000000 - 08000000 node 0 bootmap 00116000 - 00117000 (9 early reservations) ==> bootmem [0000000000 - 0008000000] #0 [0000000000 - 0000001000] BIOS data page ==> [0000000000 - 0000001000] #1 [0000001000 - 0000002000] EX TRAMPOLINE ==> [0000001000 - 0000002000] #2 [0000006000 - 0000007000] TRAMPOLINE ==> [0000006000 - 0000007000] #3 [0001000000 - 00020a00b4] TEXT DATA BSS ==> [0001000000 - 00020a00b4] #4 [0007b12000 - 0007fdefb4] RAMDISK ==> [0007b12000 - 0007fdefb4] #5 [000009f800 - 0000100000] BIOS reserved ==> [000009f800 - 0000100000] #6 [00020a1000 - 00020ab000] BRK ==> [00020a1000 - 00020ab000] #7 [0000100000 - 0000116000] PGTABLE ==> [0000100000 - 0000116000] #8 [0000116000 - 0000117000] BOOTMAP ==> [0000116000 - 0000117000] Zone PFN ranges: DMA 0x00000000 -> 0x00001000 Normal 0x00001000 -> 0x00008000 HighMem 0x00008000 -> 0x00008000 Movable zone start PFN for each node early_node_map[2] active PFN ranges 0: 0x00000000 -> 0x0000009f 0: 0x00000100 -> 0x00008000 Using APIC driver default SMP: Allowing 1 CPUs, 0 hotplug CPUs No local APIC present or hardware disabled APIC: disable apic facility Allocating PCI resources starting at 8000000 (gap: 8000000:f7f00000) Booting paravirtualized kernel on bare hardware NR_CPUS:8 nr_cpumask_bits:8 nr_cpu_ids:1 nr_node_ids:1 PERCPU: Embedded 10 pages/cpu @c21af000 s18072 r0 d22888 u65536 pcpu-alloc: s18072 r0 d22888 u65536 alloc=16*4096 pcpu-alloc: [0] 0 Built 1 zonelists in Zone order, mobility grouping on.
