Hello,

I am sorry but I can’t find the information on the gitlab repository. I would like to propose a new packet but I am not authorized to push on aports/testing. Is there any documentation on the process of submitting new packages and fixes?

Thank you!

Hello Tristan,

Welcome to the Alpine community. The way to do it is described for
example here: https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/Creating_patches#Submitting_patches_via_Gitlab

The idea is to create a [fork][0] of aports, push your changes in a
new branch, and then make a merge request against alpine/aports. One
of the developers will then review it, suggest any changes if
necessary, and then merge it if all is good.

Hope this helps,
Kevin
