Hi,

They have said that the 3.8.y kernel will be EOL soon after the 3.9 is out. The 3.9 kernel was released so 3.8.y will be EOL any day now. There are not yet any 3.9 grsecurity patch.

So, rather than shipping v2.6 with an EOL'ed kernel, I have decided to
hold the v2.6.0 release til 3.9-grsec is available.

Users who want get started with v2.6 can start use the 2.6 release candidates. There should not be any big changes in the final v2.6.0 release - except a brand new kernel...
