Grub recognizes the keyboard, but the kernel fails to do so. The wireless card and maybe the trackpad are also affected (booted with a USB keyboard). I installed the -stable kernel and that fails, too. Weirdly, the Kali live image recognizes everything all right, while running a months-old kernel. In my understanding, the Linux kernel (both 6.18 and 7.x) is perfectly capable of using this hardware, only if the required parts would be compiled in it. Could you please be so kind and fix this? Helping is for the moment beyond me: I lack a Linux machine to compile the kernel myself from a modified APORT (the said notebook sadly runs Windows and my other one a BSD). Thank you. --=_2bc52498060b0d4178d7775214327073 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
