Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi again, I observed that in /etc/network/intrafaces file if an empty space character follows that stanzas of an interface definition the ifup/ifdown scripts break with vconfig: ioctl error for add: File exists Error: either "local" is duplicate, or "/24" is a garbage. Example: #--------------- auto vlan12 iface vlan12 inet static address 10.65.8.1 <---- a space following the ip address netmask 255.255.255.0 vlan-raw-device bond0 #-------------- Regards Harry Lachanas --- Unsubscribe: alpine-devel+unsubscribe@lists.alpinelinux.org Help: alpine-devel+help@lists.alpinelinux.org ---
