I've to confess I'm with Zach here. Alpine 4 would be much more logical
than doing a jump to Alpine 15. I personally think it will actually give
the wrong impression as everyone will see it as a "marketing joke".

If you want to present Alpine as a serious project, I suggest to bump
(not jump) to 4.x, reasoning that there is a new apk-tools as a basis.

Jumping discredits the seriousness of the project and I doubt this is
smart long term decisions.
