I have several boxes running alpine linux. They have been up for several months. After a while of use the /dev/null device gets it permission changed. Some programs will not start/work properly after this happens. I have not been able to find the cause just yet. I have had this happen on 2 boxes now. They are running different version of alpine. I haven't had the time to try 1.7.27. alpine-1.7.22 080912 alpine-1.7.26 081107 The permissions seem like they need to be 666 but they get change to 644. 2. I went to report the bug through the means found on the website http://wiki.alpinelinux.org/w/index.php?title=FAQ#I_have_found_a_bug.2C_where_can_I_report_it.3F Seems these pages are having bugs of there own... http://bugs.alpinelinux.org/ The boxes that are installed aren't connected to the Internet, so I can't really use the sendbug feature in alpine. If you need anymore details or have suggestions let me know. Thanks --- Unsubscribe: alpine-devel+unsubscribe@lists.alpinelinux.org Help: alpine-devel+help@lists.alpinelinux.org ---
