Thanks for explaining=2E So I get the underlying difference to debian
seems to be that they create the next testing release branch right away
and have extensive package transition machinery=2E

The alternative with Alpine I guess would then only be pinning to
package versions (not edge) and manual upgrade --available=2E
(To avoid running into having to downgrade=2E)
