Hi,

From http://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/Alpine_Linux:Site_improvements

"The x86_64 vserver iso is missing and there are an scst iso where it is
expected to be found. We need probably redo the entire downloads page
since we have so many flavors. How about a drop-down-box for alpine
flavor?"

I think the time to redo the downloads page is now.

Ideas how we want it? We now have a new flavor: alpine-xen, only
available as x86_64.

How other distos have done it:

http://www.archlinux.org/download/
http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora
http://www.debian.org/distrib/
http://www.suse.com/download-linux/
http://www.ubuntu.com/download

I like ubuntu's "Choose your flavor" drop down box:
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop

Other ideas?

Thanks!

alpine (standard) - x86, x86_64
alpine-mini - x86, x86_64
alpine-vserver, x86, x86_64
alpine-scst (still need this?) - x86_64
alpine-xen - x86_64

Currently th flavors are listted horizontally. I think we need them
vertically with the architecture horzintal.

I figured out that a dropdown box does not show what opions are
available, and we want some kind of description for the different
flavors. I dropped the dropdown box.

How does current http://alpinelinux.org/downloads and download box on
front page look?

Thanks!
