Who said that Alpine wouldn't work for me? I never said that. I explained why Alpine, especially when using unstable repositories, is not a generally good desktop distro, not even for geeks. You answered a question that wasn't even asked, which is quite remarkable. The OP's question: Thinking about using Alpine edge on my desktop, how stable is it?
