After looking at

  ethtool --show-offload eth0

i called

  ethtool -K eth0 rx-gro-hw off

and that actually was it!

I have further searched the net and it seems "GSO" is a topic on
Linux currently, so maybe it gets better soon.
If someone knows how to achive the above call without having
ethtool installed, that would be cool.
