But all the professors in the world can make no bugs. Hello. On my Alpine [edge] there is no /etc/openssl, but only /etc/ssl. Well this is only for the FIPS module, which i do not install, but openssl update, i am always interested. P.S.: and what is that, "user-merged"? A message on the mailing-list would have been cool. I cannot dig very much from the merge request that i read, i have absolutely nothing against /sbin, /bin and /lib etc being directories instead of symlinks (i hope these remain), and, hey, you must have a lot of time to adjust the makefiles aka package recipes. Granted, ~# ldd /sbin/openrc .. libeinfo.so.1 => /usr/lib/libeinfo.so.1 (0x7fb478322000) librc.so.1 => /usr/lib/librc.so.1 (0x7fb478313000) .. does not seem to make a lot of sense. Except, you know, it diverts "system critical" to "not system critical", and if only "notational-wise". But hey!, i am 99.9% only a user -- for ten years!!! -- and you are doing all the hard work and make the decisions.
