Hi, Have latest version of Virtualbox, and created a VM for AlpineLinux. Also installed virtualbox-guest-additions and then this: https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/LXQt When I startup the VM, the Lxqt GUI starts up but the VM doesn't seem to see the mouse nor keyboard. I am therefore stuck at the desktop login-screen and unable to proceed. I've never seen this type of error for any of my other VMs (and I've installed Alpine and other Linux distros). Any ideas on why this might be happening? cheers.

That was indeed the problem. The xorg-base setup had not been done, not sure how I missed it. Installing xf86-input-libinput resolved that issue. Thanks and cheers.
