Thank you Wolf for your response.  I have configured the ldap now. But finding issue while running id command. There is no nsswitch.conf available on alpine so we are not getting the ldap id on alpine. Could you please help to understand how this works. How alpine server get ldap ID ?
If alpine not using nsswitch.conf what is the alternate way to get this done.
