Hi,

most probably it's not possible to install any random binaries.
The reason is that Alpine uses musl instead of glibc as C standard library =
(mostly).

You can build these browsers, but it will probably be a long and tedious pr=
ocess.
As far as I understand it, the hardened patches were not supported anymore =
by the authors and/or had turned commercial, therefore are not included any=
more.

About the timezone: no idea, sorry. I'm using Alpine as a headless system.
About users and groups: sorry, can't help either.

XFCE installed and so forth, the clock in top right is an hour behind.
I tried setting a timezone in the field and nothing worked... so not
sure how you change /adjust the timezone to make it right?

What happened to the hardened kernel, I thought Alpine was supposed to
be small, simple and secure? Taking out the hardened kernel is like
running a security firm like ADT and selling customers the security
hardware, without the system (software) lol...

If I have more questions I'll ask later... thanks
