That is not orphan, i develop and maintain it.
|testing/dma
|testing/jsmn
Well, i long track the git repo of those, though i only update
~once a month. (I also track FreeBSD commits so dma problems etc
do show up in time.) How they integrate into Alpine i never
looked. (No problem for the second of course. Most projects
simply include it in their own sources instead of a dependency
anyway.)
'Currently not running X under Alpine so xfig, xaw etc, not.

Just to be clear, this is about alpine packages that don't have a
maintainer listed, not about upstream projects.
You dropped maintainership of the package in [0]. If you wish to
continue to maintain it, feel free to make a merge request to do so.

What about the packages which had no upstream updates for a long time?
Do contributors still have to "bump" pkgrel to confirm that the
package still has a maintainer in the distro?

I can probably take on some of the perl modules at some point. I keep an
eye on my current modules but I am not terribly active.

I undestood this actually.

Ha! I had forgotten about this even. Yes i once maintained some
packages for Alpine, but they were not committed to the tree, they
stuck for months (one even over a year) on alpine-aports@, and
never left testing/ iirc.
So a *big* *big* thanks to Alice who is very kind and always
merged my gitlab requests almost instantly!!
(I did maintain some things of mine continuously.)
A nice weekend everybody.
And thank you all for AlpineLinux! Soon eight years on my server,
and two or three years i used it locally.
